DVA Admissions
Brisbane Waters Private Hospital is a Tier 1 provider for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).
As part of this relationship, we provide a range of psychiatric services to eligible veterans and war widows, including:
- Pre-admission and discharge planning support
- Assistance in the co-ordination and streamlining of your care
- Referral to appropriate services and resources
- General health and lifestyle education, and counselling
Veteran Accounts and EntitlementsIf you are an eligible veteran or war widow, you won’t have any personal expenses for treatment at The Central Coast Clinic and you won’t receive an account.
You will, however, be charged for pharmacy and personal items not related to your admission diagnosis.
Types of Accommodation
Accommodation with The Central Coast Clinic consists of single rooms with their own ensuite.
Transport to and from Hospital
Some veteran patients are eligible to have transport arranged for them through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.If your visit to The Central Coast Clinic is a planned admission, you can pre-arrange transport vouchers through your general practitioner to cover your journey to and from hospital.
